José has over 25 years’ experience in the medical-device industry, with a focus on patient monitoring where Mr. Wong has impact through design, development, quality, and strategy. He has held technical and leadership roles at Johnson & Johnson, GE Healthcare, Farm (a Flex company), and most recently at McKinsey & Company.

Mohan Thanikachalam, MD

FOUNDER AND CEO

As Principal NIH Investigator, Dr. Thanikachalam led the effort to develop ViTrack technology. A cardiovascular surgeon by training, he is a part-time faculty member at Tufts University School of Medicine (TUSM) and an affiliate faculty member at MIT. His research interests include the development and validation of point-of-care technologies for home-based cardiovascular risk assessment and disease monitoring to facilitate more comprehensive, community-based CVD prevention and management strategies.

Edward Adelson, PhD

CO-FOUNDER & CORE TECHNOLOGY TEAM MEMBER

As part of the ViTrack team, Professor Adelson led the development of a novel optical technology for artificial touch sensing, which converts touch to images and enables tactile sensitivity beyond that of a human fingertip. He is the John and Dorothy Wilson Professor of Vision Science in the Department of Brain and Cognitive Sciences and the Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence Laboratory (CSAIL) at MIT. Professor Adelson is a member of the National Academy of Sciences and a Fellow of the American Academy of Arts and Sciences. He is well known for contributions to multi-scale image representation (such as the Laplacian pyramid) and basic concepts in early vision such as motion energy and steerable filters

As Director of Product Development, Mark led design and development of patient monitoring solutions at Philips Healthcare, including the Smart-hopping Medical Telemetry system. He was also the Program Manager for design controls in the patient monitoring business at Philips.

Abhijit Biswas, PhD

CO-FOUNDER AND CTO

Dr. Biswas’s expertise is in haptics, medical simulations with touch feedback, virtual reality, biomedical instrumentation, embedded systems, power electronics, signal processing, and physiological modeling. While a postdoctoral fellow at MIT, he led the development of ViTrack hardware and software.

Gokul Rajamanickam, MS

DIRECTOR OF SYSTEMS

Gokul is an experienced medical device professional with over 12 years of experience across a range of functions including R&D, product development, and operations. He successfully led the development of a point of care diagnostic device from early feasibility through to commercialization. Gokul received his M.S. in Engineering and Management from MIT.

Stam holds an MS in electrical engineering and computer sciences from Tufts University. He worked on the ViTrack device as a part of his graduate study. He is responsible for software development, algorithm implementation, and testing.

Jameson obtained a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Wentworth Institute of Technology. He has over 8 years of experience in the medical device industry, with expertise in quality control, manufacturing, and product design. His work has involved a variety of devices, including drug delivery systems and in vitro diagnostics.

Wentao Hu, PhD

ALGORITHM ENGINEER

Wentao has earned his master's and doctoral degrees in electrical and computer engineering from the University of Rochester. In 2023, he successfully completed an internship at Dynocardia. Now, as an Algorithm Engineer at Dynocarida, Wentao is fully accountable for algorithm development, implementation, and testing.

Po-Hsuan is an AI researcher and computational neuroscientist with over six years of experience in applying advanced AI technologies to healthcare and medicine. He completed his PhD at the University of Southern California, where he developed innovative solutions for early detection of neurological disorders. His work has involved utilizing eye-tracking, computer vision, and semi-supervised learning to identify stress-related conditions and neurodegenerative diseases. At Dynocardia, he is responsible for algorithm development and data analysis.

Jordan is a scientist-engineer-first-responder,recently graduated from MIT with her BS in Nuclear Engineering and focus in Biophysics. Her experience crosses multiple disciplines including power electronics and mechatronics, having taught in MIT's Electronics for Mechanical Systems undergraduate teaching laboratory during her undergrad and placing 1st in a MIT autonomous robotics competition, in addition to prior work developing a next-generation medical device for gynecologic surgery. She is an active EMT with MIT EMS, allowing her to flow from engineering to medicine and back again, from imagining Dynocardia's next biomedical solutions to leading patient care in the field.

Victoria Gonzalaez-Canalle, BS

Victoria graduated from Boston University with a degree in Biomedical Engineering, specializing in Machine Learning. She has gained extensive research experience from her time at the Tearney Lab, Massachusetts General Hospital, where she spearheaded an early pancreatic cancer screening project and was awarded the Yao Su Student Research Prize. During her time at Boston University, she received a third-place award at the 2024 Biomedical Engineering Senior Design Conference and has industry experience from internships at Foundation Medicine and Pfizer.

Dr. Mano holds dual Master's degrees in Electrical Engineering and Mathematics/Computer Science. With over three decades of extensive experience in software development within the medical devices sector, he has spearheaded groundbreaking projects in algorithm development and product innovation. His portfolio boasts a dozen patents, alongside instrumental contributions to the development of numerous medical devices that successfully navigated FDA 510K approval and garnered acquisition by industry giants such as Dexcom, Medtronic, and Becton Dickinson. He has leveraged his wealth of experience as a trusted consultant for numerous high-tech firms, providing strategic insights and solutions to complex technical challenges.

Mike has a wealth of experience in medical device innovation, marketing, portfolio strategy, market development, and marketing campaigns across the entire range of medical care, from surgical procedures to home care. He has experience working with start-ups, as well as Fortune 1000 and Fortune 200 companies. In his current role, Mike is responsible for leading commercialization planning, which includes marketing initiatives within the critical care business, physician network management, evidence generation, clinical education, health economic strategy, and advisory boards.
